Equipilates™ evening classes

Beginners classes are run in courses of 6 weeks, and have a maximum number of 8 participants so that each person gets lots of one to one attention and instruction. This is very important in helping you to perform exercises as correctly as possible for maximum benefit, but does mean that places are filled very quickly. The first session of the beginner course concentrates on finding your ideal alignment, plus core muscle isolation and activation on the wooden saddle horse- you can bring along your own saddle for this to help you feel new patterns on a familiar 'base'. This is revisited later in the course to help your sense of alignment and balance.
We use a variety of small equipment to add an extra dimension to your session, which provides additional elements of challenge to the areas of your body which need to be strong as well as relaxation and tension release in muscles/muscle group which tend to be tight in riders. You will feel refreshed, revitalised and relaxed on a deep level after these sessions!
The next start dates for Equipilates™ courses starting in May onwards will be posted very soon- we are delighted to now be able to offer a larger number of classes, courses and private sessions at The Dressage Studio due to having an extra Equipilates™ Registered Trainer based here to assist Lindsay with the teaching schedule.
Beginners course- £52 per person for 6 week course. Subsequent ongoing classes are available at £34 per 4 week block.
Flexicore™ evening classes

Tuesday evenings 7-7.50pm
This fun and exciting class was brand new at the start of 2011, and proved to be a hit!
Learn to bump, drop, pop and shimmy like a goddess whilst sculpting yourself an amazing waistline with funky bellydance moves combined with the poise and precision of Pilates! Flexicore™ really improves core strength and fluidity- just the skills you need to ride even the biggest moving horse effortlessly (great for sitting trot).
This class has a maximum number of 10 and is £28 for a block of 4 weeks. It is an open level movement and technique class which means you can join any time, but not suitable for people who are currently rehabilitating from injury. No initial assessment is necessary- if you would like to come along please contact Lindsay asap to book your place.
